Communication Generation has been created by television and radio personality Erica Davis and has evolved as a result of years of research and collaboration with psychologists and counsellors to create programs that go “back to basics” to help people “find their voice” and communicate with strength and honesty in everyday life situations.
Kinder - Year 4
Students will learn how strong communication leads to great friendships and wellbeing. The students will help assemble four giant building blocks to make a tower. Within each block is a clue to strong communication.
It’s a fun an interactive workshop using rhyme, colourful props and high energy to drive the learning outcomes for each individual stage.
Year 5 - 6
This is a 3-session workshop that covers:
communication in the playground, in public and how we communicate to ourselves.
Topics include: conflict resolution, inclusivity, assertiveness, respect, facing fear, managing anxiety, how to have healthy friendships, patience, empathy, a growth mindset and so much more.
Secondary
There are a number of Communication Generation, 1 hour talks that address developmental situations teenagers are facing today.
Topics include: identity, positive thinking, conflict resolution, inclusivity, assertiveness, managing anxiety, positive self talk, labels, values, speaking in public, active listening and more.
Leadership
Erica has been the key note speaker at several leadership forums. This includes the Leaders and Achievers Forum at Macquarie University.
Erica's focus on first "knowing who we are" before we can lead, encourages students to really understand what they value and who they are so they can communicate from a place of strength and identity.
Communication Generation can customise a talk or workshop to compliment your business needs, event, unit of study or principle you wish to impart.
Just let us know what you are after and together we can craft an impacting session.

Erica’s journey into the world of media officially began with her completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Television Production from Charles Sturt University in 1997.

In 2003 she began producing and presenting a weekly segment on Sydney Weekender. Over 17 years, Erica presented and produced over 750 stories for Sydney Weekender as well as co-ordinating sponsorships and unit managing the team.
At the same time Erica began a career in radio. Commencing as a breakfast news reader for the SCA network, and moving into hosting her own morning shows both in Sydney and Melbourne. Erica is also a professional voice over artist and her work can be heard on multiple stations across Australia.
A gifted and natural communicator, Erica is also a sought after master of ceremonies having hosted award nights, balls, gala's and conferences for businesses, non-profit organisations, churches and community groups. "I am passionate about great communication.
If you can state clearly and effectively what you want, need and care about,
while showing respect to others, then you can do anything!
Knowing how to communicate well will help you in EVERY area of life.
I believe a great communicator can change the world."
